Taremtec Ltd Free Software Trial Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions shall apply should you take advantage of Taremtec Ltd.’s free trial period.
General
1.Taremtec Ltd Standard Terms and Conditions of Business (which can be found at www.taremtec.com) shall apply in addition to the Free Trial Terms and Conditions.
2.The free trial period shall last for a period of 30 days only (“the Free Trial Period”) during which you shall have access to the software and services set out on the free trial offer. The free trial offer shall include (depending on the number of users/employees) Microsoft Surface Go tablet and a Universal Tablet Countertop Kiosk Stand (tablet holder), which should be return within 7 days of the end of the Free Trial Period, if you decide not to sign up for a paid service at the end of the Free Trial Period.
3.The Free Trial Period is deemed to start from the date on which you are provided with the log-in details for the software.
4.The login details for the software shall be sent by email to the email address provided on the Free Trial Form.
5.After the Free Trial Period, you shall no longer be able to access the software unless you sign up for a paid service. All data inputted onto the Software will be automatically deleted within 7 days of the end of the Free Trial Period unless you have signed-up for a paid service.
6.Only one free-trial period is permitted per organisation.
7.The free trial offer applies only to new customers who sign up for the free trial.
8.The free trial offer shall apply to genuine new customer enquiries only. Taremtec Ltd reviews all orders and reserves the right to deny remove or cancel the free trial at any time and for whatever reason.
9.If no written notification is received from you cancelling the services at least three days before the end of the Free Trial Period, then it shall be deemed that you agree to purchase the Taremtec Package you are using for additional one year, starting from the end of the Free Trial period.
10.Taremtec Ltd reserves the right to change the features of the free trial offer at any time.
Hardware
11.As part of the free trial offer, Taremtec Ltd shall provide you with the hardware listed in Clause 2. Once the hardware has been delivered and set up for use, you shall send a picture of the hardware via email to support@taremtec.com to verify the condition in which the hardware was received before the start of the Free Trial Period.
12.Should you decide not to proceed with a paid-up service at the end of the Free Trial Period, then the hardware mentioned in clause 2 above shall be returned to Taremtec Ltd.’s office address which is: Taremtec Ltd, Unit 20 Brockley Cross Business Centre, 96 Endwell Road, Brockley, London SE4 2PD. All postage costs shall be borne by the organisation undertaking the free trial. It is advised that proof of postage is obtained as Taremtec Ltd. shall not be responsible for hardware lost in delivery.
13.Hardware returned after the Free Trial Period must be received by Taremtec within 7 days of the end of the Free Trial Period. Should the hardware not be received within 7 days of the end of the Free Trial Period, then an invoice for the full cost of the hardware shall be raised and payable within 14 days of the invoice date.
14.Any fault or problems with the hardware must be notified via email to either sales@taremtec.com or support@taremtec.com within two hours of receiving the hardware, supported with photographic evidence. Otherwise, it shall be deemed that the hardware was received in good working order.
15.Hardware shall be returned in the same working condition in which it was provided by Taremtec Ltd to the organisation at the beginning of the Free Trial Period. All returned hardware shall be inspected by Taremtec Ltd upon receipt and an assessment shall be made, at Taremtec Ltd.’s sole discretion, as to whether the returned hardware is defective.
16.Costs of repairing any damage done to the returned hardware shall be charged to the organisation undertaking the free trial by way of invoice and the invoice shall be payable within 14 days of the invoice date.
Data Security
17.For the purpose of data security, the organisation using the Free Trial agrees to change the password details provided by Taremtec at the start of the Free Trial period.
18.The organisation using the Free Trial shall be fully responsible for the secure and safekeeping of the login details and web address provided by Taremtec for the Free Trial Period.
19.Taremtec shall not be responsible for any data breach as a result of the organisation staff members sharing the web page or login details with third parties or unauthorised personnel.
Continuation of services after the Free Trial Period
20.If a decision is made to make a purchase before or after the Free Trial Period, an invoice would be raised for the paid service and product required.
21.Passes, fobs, cards, printers, scanners and third-party system integration are excluded from the Free Trial offer. However, these can be purchased by customers who sign up for a paid service following the Free Trial Period.
Intellectual Property
22.The software remains the property of Taremtec Ltd. Any organisation using the software during the Free Trial Period shall not, during and/or after the Free Trial Period, copy, reproduce or distribute the software to any third parties under any circumstances.
